WifiRemote is a tcp/ip server process plugin that provides a connection point for clients over your network, lets them remote control your mediacenter in various ways and sends status updates back to the client. WifiRemote publishes your MediaPortal as a Bonjour service to allow automatic discovery
You want to use this if you use one of the supported clients (aMPdroid, CouchPotato) or if you want to develop your own client app (it’s easy, check out the documentation!).

This is excellent.
My only gripe is the (seemingly) complex strings in the protocol, as a JObject is not supported by my Philips Pronto. For me, an XML transfer would have been preferable... perhaps an XML option could be added?
So for now I am writing an overly complex parser in ProntoScript (unless someone knows a better way).
However - great extension.
