TV-Server Tutorial Videos

As an addition to our TV-Server guide/documentation in the wiki, i have created several Tutorial Videos.

This videos will show you:

  • which setups you can create with the TV-Server
  • which software you need
  • how you install the TV-Server and the required software
  • how you configure the TV-Server
  • and how you install and configure the MediaPortal Client(s)

I hope that they will help some members to get their TV-Server and Client installation done.

The Videos are available ::here::

  • as download in 1024x768 (divx 6.4 avi)
  • or as stream in 800x600 (divx 6.4 streamplayer on webpage).

But please do not forget the documentation in the wiki, where you will find other informations than the basics too! ::here::

Just in case that anyone else wants to do a tutorial video too (and i hope so!)

The videos were created with:

  • hypercam: capture videos of the Windows Desktop ::link::
  • Adobe Premiere: cutting/editing videos ::link::
  • DivX 6.4 pro: encoding of final videos ::link::

If anyone has questions about how to do such a video (or wants to help to create new videos), send me a pm in the forums or start a thread ::here::

regards

Support MediaPortal!

The team works very hard to make sure the community is running the best HTPC-software. We give away MediaPortal for free but hosting and software is not for us.

Care to support our work with a few bucks? We'd really appreciate it!
