While you are waiting for 1.3.0 beta....

HTPC users rejoice!

''tis the season to be jolly'

Many HTPC users are going to be very jolly this season with the release of 1.3.0 beta! (which is in the final stage of testing by the Team).

Why? Well, Santa (aka Deda) and his elves (aka catavolt and our Design group) have a special treat for you in 1.3.0 beta. You will now be able to select and change almost all MediaPortal settings without leaving your couch, or shutting down to open the Configuration tool.

We wanted to give you TV-Server settings too, but they wouldn't fit down the chimney! Maybe next year? ("So be good for goodness sake!")

You may select Settings from the Basic Home menu in either Titan or the new Default skin, as well as related settings from the menus in many windows like Videos, Music, Pictures.

Here's a pre-season 'cocktail' to whet your whistle:

Now aren't you glad you wrote that letter to Santa?
Oh, and it comes with a manual for easy assembly.
