Excellent Plugin

Using Event Ghost isn't something for very entry level users, but it's immensely powerful once you figure out how to use it. This plugin makes allows me to take full control of my setup. Thanks to the developer!

Newest version broke my setup

I had everything perfect and saw his update. I figured hey what can it hurt? Apparently a lot. With the plugin enables "Stop" does not work and MediaPortal closes after each video. Without the plugin MediaPortal functions properly but I have 0 remote commands. So I know your thinking well roll back the update. You can't the plug in manager will only install the latest update. It will let you select earlier updates but "installs" the latest. Hell I cant even get the bad version to reinstall anymore. Needless to say I am not impressed right now.

Why didn't you try to get support on the forum or IRC channel before writing a review ? I never heard of this problem before, but I do have every version offline, I could make it online for you so you can revert. I think you have changed something else that's causing the plugin to stop working though.

Works but has some issues

It appears to work well, except that every action is doubled. Something about this plugin doubles the input read from my remote, I can't figure it out even after looking at the code.

I know it's not my setup since this only happens when I have an event call a MediaPortal action. The log shows two of every event, and each of those events calls an action.

Did you remove the Message Plugin from your MediaPortal installation ?
