SlimTV - Watch TV

- Using MediaPortal 2, MPExtended and MP1 TvServer -

Current version: Summer '15 Release (2015-07-28). 

SlimTV allows you to watch TV inside MediaPortal 2. It provides features like:

• Playing TV as single stream or even Picture-in-Picture (PiP)
• Use Electronic Program Guide (EPG) to schedule simple and extended recordings
• Manage recordings

Note: This bundle requires an installed MP1 TvServer and MPExtended (http://www.team-mediaportal.com/extensions/tools/mpextended-service)

 Installation

The attached file is for Summer'15 Release or newer. The version for older MP2 versions is archieved.

Extract the archive to any folder. 

Copy the subfolders of "SlimTV-MPExtended" into C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal (contained are both MP2-Client + MP2-Server components).

Configuration in MP2

In Settings->Plugins->TV please configure MPExtended server name and user details!

To be able to access your recordings, make sure that the recording paths are added as media source. You can also use "Movies" and "Series" categories, than your recordings appear also inside Movies or Series section.
